What is the mission of the Perivoli Foundation?

Perivoli’s mission is to reshape the future of Southern Africa in a generation. Through early childhood education and soil regeneration, Perivoli empowers communities with scalable, affordable solutions that improve food security, climate resilience, and economic opportunity. The Foundation’s philosophy can be summed up as transformation through education and environment. We see literacy and land regeneration as the twin paths to Africa’s transformation. We believe in helping people help themselves, training nursery teachers to inspire young minds and farmers to rejuvenate their soil. Teach a girl to read and she will own her life. Repair the soil and she will have more to eat and earn. In combination, these strategies address women’s empowerment, livelihood uplift, food security and climate change.
